Vini was backed by the team in July 2011 for a significant minority stake. The founders have a deep understanding of the Indian Consumer, marketing & distribution coupled with key media relationships built over 25+ years. Mr.Patel came with an excellent track record of having built several marquee brands in the personal care space such as Moov, ItchGuard, Dermicool, Dcold amongst others.

The investors received an exit through a secondary sale to Sequoia Capital (2014) and Westbridge Capital (2017). The Company had grown into one of India’s most valuable consumer start-ups with its star brand “FOGG” being the highest selling deodorant in India.
