Hardcastle Restaurants - Master franchisee - South & West India for McDonald's

Status: Past Investment

Hardcastle Restaurants was backed by the team in May 2010 with the investors getting a significant minority stake in the Company. With an established supply chain and 89 restaurants in 2010, the Company went on to expand profitably in its designated markets.

The investors received an exit in 2013 and 2014 through a secondary sale vide listing of the Company  as Westlife Development on the bourses. At exit, the Company had grown to nearly 200 restaurants, retired long term debt and was profitable. Arisaig Partners, Vontobel and UBS were brought in as investors.
