Vishal Ootam

Founder & CEO

Vishal is primarily responsible for leading the business, instrumental in the investment origination process, and funding investment opportunities. The Connected Capital® approach of OAKS Asset Management (erstwhile Alpha Capital Advisors) is built around the network that Vishal (and Vivek) have built over the last two decades. He comes with 25 years of experience in financial services and asset management. Prior to this he was the Co-founder of Bay Capital from 2006 to 2015. Vishal was also the CEO-designate for Kotak’s international franchise in the Far East. He held various positions in institutional fixed income and equities at DSP Merrill Lynch from 1994 to 2006.
